It seems that there are times in life that are pivotal moments- I watched the movie "My Sassy Girl" recently and the main character speaks on when he meet the love of his life. How his life is then divided into two parts, before and after he meet her. Yes, it's a classic romantic line- but isn't that something that we all look for-those stand out instances that alter the course in such a way that the past is that much different then the future. That's at least what I hope.

I absolutely love October, and not just because it's my birthday month. One of my favorite feelings is the crisp air and the smell of fall. It's that chill you get when you walk out to your car from the indoors, the sounds of the breeze between the changing leaves, and the return of cozy sweaters. Ok- enough nostalgic references- I promise I'm not attempting to resurrect Thoreau, but there are some observations that do cause for reflection and meditation.
